A Journey to the Grand Canyon: May/June 1995
(continued)
Moab (where we will stay for two nights at the Best Western Canyonlands Inn) is conveniently located between Arches National
Park and Canyonlands National Park. We reach Moab at 7:45pm after travelling a route from Bryce Canyon that includes a section of
unpaved road in a very isolated area, but we are rewarded with some magnificent scenery, included the distant buttes of Capitol Reef
National Park. After settling into the very comfortable rooms at the Best Western, we eat simply but fillingly at the Moab Diner.
