Day 16 commences with the exploration of Maligne Canyon in Jasper National Park.
The canyon is the most spectacular, and longest, of the gorges in the Canadian Rockies

On the road from Maligne Canyon to Maligne Lake we pass Medicine Lake (above)
where we find several bighorn sheep and wild mountain sheep
Before we reach Maligne Lake we find moose grazing in a thickly wooded area
Where the road ends at Maligne Lake, we find coffee and cinnamon buns to relax with as we enjoy views of the lake and Mounts Charlton (10,561-feet) and Unwin (10,728-feet) before driving to explore other sights in Jasper National Park
