Bassenthwaite Lake Station is a restaurant situated in a restored railway station with a full size replica steam train on the former Cockermouth to Keswick line. We have lunch aboard the replica Orient Express carriage used in the film Murder on the Orient Express, where we have excellent chicken and mushroom soup and an extensive seafood platter
