Exploring Ebey's Prairie on Whidbey Island

Day 26: after the first night of our two night stay at the Best Western hotel in Mount Vernon, we spend the day exploring the North Cascades National Park by driving through the Cascades range of mountains to Washington Pass (5,477-feet) 

Fishing for sockeye salmon at the confluence of the Skagit and Baker Rivers -

a 'fish taxi' is used to transport the salmon past the series of dams on the Baker River
