Jeanette gets to ring the bell at St George's Church on the Isle of Portland. The church was built between 1754 and 1766.
The church
is now under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. The design of the church is reminiscent of the works of Christopher
Wren (particularly the tower, in relation to those of St Paul's Cathedral), and has an extensive graveyard
The day ends in Weymouth (right) where we eat at the Crustacean Restaurant

The seated statue of Richard Hooker (1554 - 1600), writer and theologian, is located on Exeter Cathedral Green.
The 14th century
stone vaulting which forms the nave and quire ceiling is one of the glories of Exeter Cathedral. It is the longest continuous medieval
stone vault in the world. As there is no central tower, the vault runs all the way from the west wall of the nave to the far end of
the quire, a distance of approximately 315 ft.
