Near Liffre,

are the ruins of an Abbey.

Also near Liffre, is the small lake: Etang de Chevre

Although the chateau is not open to the public, we are able to explore the extensive grounds of the Parc du Bois Cornille, near Val-d'Ize.

The park grounds include a gateway constructed from the doorway of the old Rennes prison.
